After teaching music in the New York City School System, performing in bars, restaurants, and banquet facilities, and operating an entertainment booking agency in the Myrtle Beach area, for my retirement I’ve decided to make an effort to express myself with these music videos. Like most of us, the following quote reflects my motivation:
“To penetrate into the essence of all being and significance and to release the fragrance of that inner attainment for the guidance and benefit of others, by expressing in the world of forms, truth love, purity and beauty—this is the sole game which has any intrinsic or lasting value. All other happenings, incidents and attainments can, in themselves, have no lasting importance.”

The arrangements for the renditions of music on these videos was completed using Garage Band on a Macintosh computer. All instrumental tracks were created using an electric piano as a keyboard controller connected to the computer via a USB cable. Vocal tracks were added by singing into an external microphone. Exceptions are:
1) Renditions featuring vocals, piano, and drums pre-recorded in Cliff Hackford’s Parkwood Recording Studio and subsequently added as a unified track to the Garage Band project.
2) Music recorded during the 2016 Asheville Music Sahavas, and again added as single, unified track.
The videos were edited using Final Cut Pro.
